As if you needed another reason to root against the Pats

I just learned that players who were on a team at any point during the season get a Super Bowl ring. That means...wait for it...if the Pats win, Albert Haynesworth will get a Super Bowl ring. What a joke. Not to mention Ochocinco, who is almost equally undeserving...but I don't really care about him. The very idea of Haynesworth, in all of his uselessness, getting a Super Bowl ring, makes me want to vomit.

Ugh.

Fat Albert would get a Superbowl ring doing what he's loved to succeed at throughout the past few years:

Nothing.

Fat Al was the biggest reason we almost had a Super Bowl of our own in 2008, I got no beef with Fat Al other than the fact that he deserves this ring about as much as I do.

we're gonna skate to one song and one song only.

Not Everyone

Every member of the active roster and the coaching staff get rings. The entire front office and ownership get rings. Injured Reserve and practice squad get rings if their team decides to give them out to them, most do. In some cases players traded during the season will get them too, if they suited up and played during they regular season, but again it is by individual team discretion. (even though regular season trades in the NFL are rare, very rare) If team ownership wanted to give rings to the cheerleaders and other non football operations employees they could, ownership pays for the rings.

Have you guys NOT been listening to hal??

The Giants are a L-O-C-K!!! That means no ring for Fat A$$…no ring for Ochostinko…AND…no ring for Josh McDaniels (who by the way…deserves it less than anyone that you’ve mentioned here!!)

Good point, but not enough to overcome my hate for the Manning´s.

Specially the spoiled brat named Eli.

I don´t care for college football.

Peyton beat the titans more times than i can remember, so there my reasoning.
As for Eli, I don´t respect any player that handpick the team that should draft him. Specially if this layer makes their daddy the spokesman for that demand.

I can respect and understand your reasoning.

I like both Peyton and Eli. I was born and bred in Tennessee. The Titans are a newbie in this state…long before they came our blood ran orange. So lots of Titans fans from TN have mixed feelings…love Peyton, hate that the Colts beat us but root for him in other games.
No particular love for Eli, but by extension, I’ll root for him and DEFINITELY over Male Model Tom “Derek Zoolander” Brady.

I respect Peyton, and maybe I´d root for him if he plays somewhere else.

As for Eli, I have no kind words about him. If he wins, people will start mentioning him in the elite group, and I just don´t think he deserves it.

I can somewhat side with criollo.

I’m born and raised in TN. And I hate the Colts along with Peyton. I respect what he did for the Vols but that’s where it ends. I’ll take Brady over him all day, any day. We differ on Eli, I do think he’s earned his top QB billing. Which is cool, ’cause I actually like Eli.

I don't hate Peyton Manning

I just find his combination of being the best QB of all time and being a whining baby as incredibly annoying, especially when we face them 2 times a year (except for this year)
