I hate that Drew Bennett dropped the ball vs the Patriots, but I like Gronk and McCourty. Plus, I want them to make the SB since they’re playing for Myra Kraft. And, of course I loathe the Rats..

Yeah, I've never really hated the Patriots.

We beat ourselves and Belichick is an arrogant prick…but he’s earned that right at this point (unlike Rex Ryan), and I love Brady. Guy is a competitor and one of the best QBs ever, love watching him on the field…and Gronk, and Hernandez, and Welker.

I’m going to disagree with you on McCourty, I think this year we definitely had the better one of those brothers.

Devin had a good rookie year, since then I would agree with you.

Devin gets the “Patriots Bump” in terms of perception of how good he is, Jason quietly has improved and became our best pure cover corner this year and outplayed his brother for sure.

i’ve rooted for them ever since they beat the rams in the super bowl. i also love that they’ve been a thorn in the colts side. i love telling colts “fans” at lp field that brady is way better than manning. those fat f*cks jiggle in rage. it’s awesome to behold.

I love CBS's presentation so much better than Fox, glad we're an AFC team.

They just do a great job with music, images and in-game presentation (not to mention their booths are better at the top). I’m hyped up just from the ten seconds of images and music they had showing just now.

The Giants O line was actually pretty bad until later in the season when they finally started turning it around.

nah just wait, Cam Cameron’s offense is built on long, slow developing routes. when you have a line who isn’t great at pass blocking and receivers who are either not good enough at running routes or who have bad hands (sometimes both) then you’re bound to have a pretty flat pass attack.

but he’s not going to get a whole lot better, you’re probably right.

What other offense runs through their TEs?

I’m really impressed by that aspect and that no defense has been able to stop it despite knowing that Gronk and Hernandez are coming.

They also have used Hernandez in the backfield,

his use of Woodhead and Edelman (on defense too) is impressive, and moving McCourty to safety is an example of a coach recognizing a problem and taking drastic measures to try and change it.

I'm trying to envision a game where the Ravens are the lesser of two evils, though.

The Texans game came close, but even that was kind of a push.

But the Patriots ARE the lesser of two evils here, especially if you're a Titans fan.

Besides beating us in a playoff game where Bennett didn’t make the catch and giving us a beatdown in a game where we had two rookie corners going against Brady, the Patriots don’t have the history the Ravens do against us, nor are they as dirty.

I’m rooting for the Patriots to lose. That’s how it’s been all along. Regardless of if this was the Steelers/Ravens, I’d be rooting against the Pats. The only case where I’d root for the Pats is if they were playing the Texans right now.

I guess the Ravens rivalry has died down for some people.

Not for me though.

I remember that 2000 playoff game like it was yesterday. We lost to them in the regular season in 2002 by 1 point.

Then when we beat them in the playoffs in 2003, that is still my favorite NFL game ever. Eddie George was playing with a dislocated shoulder. Ray Lewis was in his prime. That was a classic game.

I absolutely cannot root for the Ravens to beat anyone. Ever.

How far do you think they were going to punt the ball?

His only punt today was 53yd, so he would have been punting from the goal line, and the ravens would have got the ball somewhere between the 40-50. So if if they cant throw a ball 50yds than thats just sad. Pats punter averages 48 yards at home with a long of 65, so at worst they would have the ball at 35.

the point is you try for that one chance that they get an attempt.
