The first college all-star game of the 2012 draft season is in the books. Gramsey's boy, B.J. Coleman, had a nice day. He completed 10 of 15 passes for 170 yards and a touchdown for the East team. That would not be enough, however, as the West team would score a touchdown with just 47 seconds left in the game to take the 24-17 victory.
Here is what Lennon Creer, who scored the game winning touchdown, had to say after the game:
"It was a great honor, but I've got to give it to the offensive line. I was just hoping to get out there and show what I can do. I learned a lot this week and I was glad to bring some of it to the field. The main thing was being patient, working to find the holes. It was all a great experience," Creer said. "It was just a blessing being here with all these great players."
Creer had 80 yards rushing on 15 carries in the game.
Jairus Wright, who was Wes Bunting's #1 prospect in the game, had 2 catches for 50 yards.
