Help could also be had in the offensive line, which had its troubles this past season, particularly with the center and guards. Jake Scott is getting older and Eugene Amano and Leroy Harris could potentially be upgraded with new talent.

I am well aware of the perception of UFC fans being douches to the highest order (though I don’t see myself as that type of douche). I’ve had an interest in martial arts since I was a kid, and this is the closet thing to a real life kung-fu movie.
Well, it's a good thing to be interested in...especially for self defense purposes.

I’m not hardcore enough to add K-1 sites on top of my MCM, KSK, and Deadspin daily browsing.

I’m no hardcore fan or anything, but this type of event doesn’t come around too much in Nashville. I just thought about going, but those tix are too expensive for me anyhows. If I get lucky I’ll watch on TV.

I use to run an MMA school out of the gym I manage, douche central... all the time.

Whoa! Okay, calm down. I’m thinking back to the ‘93 Bills playoff Debacle (AKA – the day I stopped talking smack when we have a big lead). We had a RCB that had, shall we say, a rather poor 2nd half. I thought his name was Steve Brown, but my rememberer ain’t working to well. Checking the ‘92-’93 roster, I must be thinking of Steve JACKSON or Tony BROWN.
It was Tony Brown....
along with Marcus Robertson & Steve Jackson. And don’t forget Cris Dishman…he was there too.

The trouble was that they switched to a prevent defense…
… I remember Dishman was seen on the sidelines practically begging the coaches to let him go back to man-to-man coverage and they wouldn’t allow it.
That lost was on the defensive coordinator (Eddy) and that’s why he got fired soon afterwards.
I didn’t blame the players much. That loss was mostly the coaches fault…
