The Titans had been saying since the season ended that re-signing Craig Stevens was a priority for this offseason. Well they have gotten just that done today. Jim Wyatt reports that the deal is for 4 years and worth about $15 million. That seems like a good, fair number for both sides.

Stevens told Wyatt that he is happy to be back with the club:

"I am extremely happy, and glad they brought me back," Stevens said. "I am looking forward to the next four years here and feel the team is headed in the right direction."

"It feels good to be here, and know that they really want you," Stevens said. "It makes me want to give them everything I’ve got. I’m going to work real hard for the team."

That leaves the Titans with 17 more players who are headed to unrestricted free agency if a deal is not done before March 13th.
