Draft scenario (O-line 1st round)

1st round scenario, David DeCastro already taken.

Which pick would help our O-line more?

1. Cordy Glenn, G, Georgia

2. Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin

3. Glenn and Konz are not worth 20th pick

I know it is hard to pick without looking at who else is available in this scenario, but I wanted to see what you guys think if we pick O-line who isn't Decastro in 1st round.

I voted for Konz because he plays centre, which is important for anchoring the line and has a larger impact.

I also believe Konz is better at his position, and coming from Wisconsin just adds to his credibility. But the more I think about it, the more I believe that the Titans won’t draft an o-lineman in the first round just because we don’t have a history of doing it and that Munchak will probably want to take mid-round lineman and groom them into starters.
Don’t get me wrong, I would love to get a solid o-lineman in the 1st round, but if Munchak can make mid-round interior lineman into CREDIBLE starters (not like Harris or Amano), then the first round pick would be best used to address other needs (ex. D-line, safety)

I would take either one of them.

And then either pick up Saturday and/or Grubbs in FA or draft Brandon Washington out of Miami with the 2nd pick. Mark my words…if we can beef up our O-Line…Jake & CJ are going to light it up next year. That means big numbers for Britt & Cook, not to mention Mr. Allstate!!
