Amidst the sadness ... Titans have 1st 1000yd receiver since 2004

I have to give a personally dedicated fanpost to Nate Washington for stepping up in a massive way this season. Everyone was skeptical when the Titans signed him to a (relatively) large deal ... but the man has held up his end of the deal in the 2011 season and completely squashed the doubters of his game..

So fellow MCMers we are presented with our first 1,000 yard receiver since the 2004 season. Regardless of how disappointed we are right now you have to be encouraged by the progress this franchise has made in adapting to the modern football game.

Without a true #1 wide receiver the Titans have managed to make a premier player out of a combination of trust, creativity and that player's desire and will to get the job done.

2012 Cheers to you, Mr Nate Washington! You embody what it means to be a Titan.

Certainly a positive from this season.

Maybe if Britt had stayed healthy, we might’ve had two.

I'm glad nate got his 1000 yard season...

But the seven years in between just shows the lack of production at that position on the field. With Britt and Nate on the field next year a back to back 1000 yard season is possible. Remember with Nate as a fan you must be positive. YEA NATE!!!
