Tennessee Titans 2012 Opponents

It's never too early to look ahead. I'm not sure how much harder an NFL schedule can get than next year's Titans schedule. Here are the teams the Titans will be playing next year. In addition to the division opponents, they will be playing the AFC East, the NFC North, and the second place finisher in the AFC North and West.

I’m usually an optimist, but the only winnable games I see are Bills, Dolphins, Bears, Vikings, Colts, and Jags.

Ehh...

On the Pats… Brady is mortal on the road and their defense has a ton of holes.
As for the Jets… they finished worse than us this year and have a lot less upside.

The Lions.. I don’t know much them about outside their 2-3 recognizable players, and we have a good record against NFC opponents, so… in my opinion that’s winnable.

Time of year

when you play the out of conference games.

Per say San Diego in December, or Lambau in December would be much worse then say those same teams in the earlier part of the season.

I have no idea what might be winnable

but it looks like a tough list.

We don’t even know at this point who the starting QB is going to be for at least two and possibly three of the four teams in our division, so speculation at this point is pretty pointless.

I am hoping that Locker will be ready to start next year (winning out via open competition), and ‘beck will be willing to backup / mentor for his second year here. If they can do something about the &&#@((F&&s(** offensive line, CJ plays like CJ 1.5k (don’t think we’ll ever see CJ2k again), and they don’t lose too much on D and add one or two good guys there (safety primarily), I think we could be better than a mediocre team next year and win some of the tough ones that are on that schedule.

This winter has been ridiculously warm.

I don’t think we’ve dropped past -10 Celsius. Had several -1/0/+1 days. And I hate it. There’s not much snow around. The ice on the rinks is terrible. I need colder weather!

Or at the very least 6-10. We still need a lot of work before we are ready for the playoffs. We need to improve in both sides of the trenches, at safety, and at wideout. But the most pressing need to me is our interior OL and our DEs respectively. Because we won’t stand a chance against teams like San Deigo, New England, Houston, Green Bay, and Pittsburgh if we can’t A)rush the passer or B)opening up running lanes and keeping a clean pocket.
