Last Night's MCM Radio
On last night's MCM Radio we talked about the surprising decision by the Tennessee Titans to cut Jacob Ford. While he doesn't fit the mold of the defensive end Jerry Gray is looking for, he was an effective pass rusher and was at a position where the Titans are really thin. It looks like the plan for now will be to use Malcolm Sheppard outside until Derrick Morgan comes back from his injury.
Last night we talked about the possibility of Karl Klug sliding outside because Mike Munchak had talked about it at his press conference yesterday. NewsToTom pointed out that Munch didn't bring up the Klug possibility himself. Someone asked him specifically about Klug playing end:
(on if Karl Klug could play end if he need to)Yeah, there are things you can do to at that spot depending on who you are playing against, especially like a game this week. They like to run the ball and you could put a bigger bodied guy out there. That’s something he can do. He can do different things with different guys rushing at the end spots, and we think we have some versatility with some players that we will be OK.

It’s a nice thing to have players that…
… can play different positions.
Jason Jones and Dave Ball can play both DT and DE and do well.
I wish the guys were all interchangeable like that…

I had to stop arguing with drunks, Steeler fans, and all other fools.
It was making my brick wall jealous...

Les Richter was for the Rams and he’s in the Hall of Fame:

“Back in the day”, many players kicked as well as playing other positions.
Paul Hornung, Frank Gifford, and Lou Groza also played multiple positions. Groza was an offensive lineman while Gifford and Hornung were backs…

George Blanda, too…
… he was the Oilers first QB and he was also their kicker.
He was great at both…
