Mike Munchak Takes a Page from Jeff Fisher's Book

I was disappointed to read this from Mike Munchak's press conference yesterday:

(on if Jacksonville won the physical battle up front)

No, I think it’s something that has to be…16-14, I don’t see that as a game where you would say that. I know when you look at time of possession and things and you start trying to figure things out, if you turn the film on and watch it, I was telling Jerry Gray today that there are plays on there that are as well played as far as the defense with hits and tackling and being physical as you will see....

His team got whipped up front all day long, and I really expected him to just come out and say that- not pull a Jeff Fisher and spew garbage.

I would think that watching the film would prove to him even more that they lost the physical battle.

The Jaguars offensive line was blowing the Titans D line off the ball all day long. You don't have to look any further than the fact that the Jags ran for 163 yards to know who won the physical battle up front.

The same can be said on the other side of the ball with the Titans rushing for just 43 yards.  Again, that is the #1 thing that has to be fixed.
