MCM Play of the Week (Week 1)
Well, that didn't go as planned. Looks like it could be a long season. Maybe that means we'll get to see a little bit of Locker in the future highlights.
Videos after the jump...
A. Jason McCourty sacks Luke McCown.
This was really the only positive play to speak of in the first half. Good to see that our defensive coordinator realizes that he can rush more than 4 guys at time.
B. Will Witherspoon recovers fumble.
I love how Ian Eagle completely ignores Dan Fouts' call of the fumble and continues with the play as if it's a first down. Good job by 'Spoon to win the fight under the pile.
C. Matt Hasselbeck flips it to Kenny Britt for an 80-yard TD.
God, I <3 Mike Keith. Even though this TD pulled us within 6 points of the Jags, I never felt like we were back in the game. At least Kenny didn't pull his hammy on this long run!
D. Kenny Britt catches a 25-yard pass from Matt Hasselbeck.
Britt's mouth has to be watering on the thought of going up against Cary Williams next weekend. Probably not as much as Haloti Ngata is on the though of our OL, though. :(
E. Kenny Britt tip-toes a Matt Hasselbeck TD pass.
Even if this year is going to suck, at least we have some exciting players that we can watch while we cry.

C) was Gold... but E was pure talent on both ends
KB had the moves to make that happen too, he was in Beast Mode the entire second half.

One of these days....WHEN I have more time, WHEN I get that promotion, WHEN my ship comes in. Listen, TODAY is the day WHEN you start to put your goals into action. TODAY is the day WHEN you stop putting things off and decide that the only way the future IS going to be better is if I make TODAY WHENsday!!
The tip toe shows Britt's evolution from just a deep threat to a reciever you want to go to when the game is on the line because of how strong he is
Glad he left Jersey for good
Oh hai MCM
