Thanks to smash for his practice report from yesterday. Today the Tennessee Titans are simulating game day at LP Field with a scrimmage that begins at 2 PM. It is open to the public with free admission and parking. I am not going to be able to make it out there, so if any of you are I would really appreciate a recap of what goes on in the fanposts.
You can also listen to a special Titans Radio training camp show from 1-2 on 104.5 The Zone with Mike Keith and Jonathan Hutton.
Here are some links from yesterday's practice:
Paul Kuharsky has a good story about what it is like for Bruce Matthews to be coaching his son Kevin. Bruce said that it won't be easy to be objective when it comes to cut time:
"It definitely harder on dad, I will never shed the dad mantle," Bruce Matthews said. "As much as I want to be objective, I can’t be. I love the kid. I say that in all honesty, that’s just how it is. So I don’t know yet that I will abstain from giving an opinion on him. But he’s doing well and I am excited by that."
- David Boclair says Jordan Babineaux made his presence felt early on yesterday when he picked off a pass from former teammate Matt Hasselbeck:
"Tell him [Hasselbeck] I said, ‘Thanks,’" Babineaux quipped. "I know Hasselback. He’s got a lot to learn and he’s teaching at the same time. What greater presence to have at quarterback than a guy like Hasselbeck?"
