Filed to ESPN: Free agent WR Braylon Edwards and the San Francisco 49ers reached agreement on a 1-year, $3.5 million deal.
Adam Schefter is reporting that free agent wide reciever Braylon Edwards has agreed to a 1-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers. There was a report over the weekend that the Tennessee Titans were interested in Edwards, but I never really bought that one. I still wish they would take a look at Malcolm Floyd, but I don't see that one happening earlier.
The only veteran wide receiver that is a possibility would be Derrick Mason. He visited with the New York Jets today, but at this point hasn't signed a contract.
