MCM Play of the Week (Preseason, Week 3)

Potw_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium_medium

Screw CJ, we have Chad Cunningham!

Videos after the jump...

Star-divide

A. Michael Griffin intercepts Jay Cutler.

Why does Michael Griffin always seem to be right in the spot where the ball is tipped to? Although the defense has struggled at times, they haven't had any trouble getting takeaways.

B. Nate Washington makes a diving/fingertip catch.

Hands! He had a bad start to the game, but finished pretty well. If only he could find a way to more consistent.

C. Jamie Harper gets his 3rd TD of the preseason.

Your 2011 Tennessee Titans starting running back?

D. Tommie Campbell gets a pick 6.

I have no idea what Caleb Hanie was thinking here, but it's always nice to see a guy like Campbell get an opportunity to take it to the house like that.

E. Chad Cunningham just winz!11!!

How do you go from the worst possible play scenario to the best possible play scenario with a punter? And to basically lock up the game? WTF.

Lol

I guess I still had Tommie on my mind.

"The Final Countdown" is now playing in your head. You're welcome.

I think you've answered which play was best right there, Michael.

I voted Tommie C.

but my heart is with Cunningham… because I know he won’t make the roster.

Tommie C

with the Pick 6, you can really see the 4.3 speed when he just seperates!

I voted the punt.

Not for his perfect pickup of the bouncing punt.
Not for his great run and pretty good speed for a punter.
Not for him getting the first down to seal the game.
But for the fact that DID YOU SEE HIM DROP HIS SHOULDER AGAINST THAT DEFENDER?!?!?! That was amazing… Sure, he got blown up, but when have you ever seen a punter drop a shoulder into a diving tackler like that?

Locker has a receiver either side;
Locker fumbles the snap;
Picks it up, sprints out to the right;
Looking;
Fires deep downfield
MAN IS WIDE OPEN!!
TOUCHDOWWWWWN TITANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great point!

and he was already past the 1st down line.

I voted for Nate!

Just because we need that kind of thing to happen more often.

I voted for Tommie because....

(A.) I love this guy and his story…..and (B.) With it becoming apparent that our offense may struggle this year, it’s going to be sooooooo important for the D to make plays just like that one, and put points on the board!!
