Jason Jones was hoping to use this preseason to make his new DE spot his home, but his injury has limited his ability to get used to the new position. Jones is hopeful that it won't be a huge setback in his transition, and it's worth noting that he played on the end back at Eastern Michigan. Also, Jones will still be sliding inside on pass rush downs, so it's really only a part-time change.
The Titans who got to know Kerry Collins well say they aren't surprised to hear that he's come out of retirement so soon after announcing it. Collins signed a one-year, $4 million contract. Sounds like this Saturday is going to be a chance to shine for our defensive linemen…

It’s important to note that not all readers of MCM are as mentally dense as the trolls who have infested our lovely blog. In fact, most are quite nice, and MCM is a very fine blog. Jimmy is our friend, and we ask that you please not travel to MCM to reciprocate the trolling.
That’s interesting, since virtually all contributors are no banned – sans Jimmy. And, nearly all of our most active MCM’rs are banned as well.

We’ve banned six in the last two days. Today, we warned two without banning. With the six who were banned, five were given warnings before the banhammer swung down on them. The one who wasn’t warned was just banned outright. I mean, when he called my ‘fuhrer,’ I kind of took that personally.
I did not receive a warning, thank you very much. I just showed up later in the day and was flat banned. Ergo two of us were not warned; math apparently is also banned from Stampede Blue.

I can't explain BBS's motives - he runs his blog how he wants to...it rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but to his credit, Stampede Blue is probably bigger now than it ever has been
HE manages and monitors the content and contributors a lot more closely that other SB Nation sites. Preemptive strike, apparently, come with the territory.

Well, there will probably be those who leave, but Manning has definitely changed the culture of Colts football
So I think there won’t be that enormous drop-off in Colts fandom that a lot of our opponents predict.
I’ve been a fan since the Dickerson days, so since Manning’s put on the jersey it’s all been gravy.
Sure it will suck when he retires, but nobody can take away what he’s done for the city of Indianapolis and fans of the Colts everywhere. If the fairweather fans leave, f*ck ‘em, I’d rather it be that way. I’m a Colts fan first and foremost.

Guy says, Collins will play well in Indy because the offense is so much better in Indy than in TN.
If he thinks Addai/Wayne/Clark > Johnson/Britt/Cook, and Colts o-line > Titans o-line, then he’s delusional. If Collins sucked for 2 years with the best RB in the game, solid WR’s/TE’s, and a good O-line, then there’s no way he can shoulder the load of the Colts offense by himself.
Then again, it is SB …….

I’m not going to argue that Addai is better than Johnson at all, because the numbers are pretty definitive. But Wayne and Clark are at least a tier above Britt and Cook, and there’s really no disputing that. Britt’s got what? 1400 yards on his career? That’s cool…Reggie Wayne got 1355 last season. C’mon man.

I mean as a whole
Titans line + playmakers WITHOUT the QB are just a little bit better than the Colts line + playmakers WITHOUT the QB, mostly because of the explosiveness Johnson provides and the stability the line has had for years. Perhaps I’m the only one that believes that, if so, fair enough. I think Manning makes your guys really really really good. It’s not a slight to Wayne or Clark at all man. But Manning makes a lot of guys good players.
