Jim Irsay, the owner of the Indianapolis Colts, is reporting that the team has agreed to terms with former Tennessee Titans QB Kerry Collins. This has to mean that the team doesn't think Peyton Manning will be ready to go when the season starts in a couple of weeks, and the thought of having Dan Orlovsky or Curtis Painter under center terrified them. You can say what you want about Collins, but he is better than either of those guys.

Irsay said that terms will be announced later, but I assume it is a one year deal that doesn't pay him a whole lot of money.
