Adam Schefter is reporting that the Arizona Cardinals and Larry Fitzgerald are set to agree to a 8-year contract that will pay Fitzgerald $50 million in guaranteed money. That is an insane number.
Chris Johnson is obviously paying attention, as you can see from his tweet above. If CJ thinks he is getting anywhere close to that he is crazy, and the Titans would be crazy to pay him that much.
I am not sure what this means for the negotiations, but it can't be good.
