Titans vs. Rams: What to Watch For on Defense
I am excited for this game because the defense should be challenged a little bit more than it was last week. Sam Bradford was excellent in his rookie year, and he will prove a good test for the re-vamped linebacking corps in pass coverage. It is unfortunate that Barrett Ruud won't be playing because we won't get to see how much of an upgrade in coverage he is over Stephen Tulloch just yet.
I can't wait to see the rookie defensive tackles- Karl Klug, Jurrell Casey and Zach Clayton- get after it again. They all made significant contributions in last week's game.
Coach Mike Munchak said yesterday that Jason McCourty will start again this week opposite Cortland Finnegan. Look for our boy Alterraun Verner to make a big play in this game to force the coaches to put him in the starting lineup. In all seriousness, you have to believe that ATV and McCourty are neck in neck still, and it isn't a bad thing to have three quality corners with as much nickel as they will play this year.

I honestly think in today's NFL, you need three starting-caliber CBs.
With the evolution of the passing game, etc. it’s almost a necessity now. It’s also why I think, unless they get a ridiculous offer, Philly will hold on to and have no problem with having Asomugha, Rodgers-Cromartie and Samuel. That’s a pretty deadly trio of corners.
he never will wear number 10 - Fernando brazil refering to Locker. Uh...

We need to get to the QB early and often.
Let’s rack up those sacks.
Sorry CJ. I'm just not on your side anymore.
It worries me that Ruud
Is already banged up.
Oh yeah
How in the hell is the word “Ayers” not in this post?

Alterraun Verner Rookie Highlights
Yes, Chris Johnson has broken more tackles than Adrian Peterson in 2009 and in 2010
I'm worried the Titans are gonna pull a Philly
And come out flat in this game. Hopefully I’m wrong. Even though it’s preseason, you still want to play well and win. No CJ and no Britt and some pieces out on defense, so we can’t put too much stock into this performance. Let’s hope it’s good regardless!
