Titans vs. Vikings: What To Expect from the Vikings

I haven't done a lot of research on the Vikings and what they hope to accomplish tonight, but I would assume their fans will be watching Donovan McNabb and Christian Ponder just like we will be watching Matt Hasselbeck and Jake Locker. Just like the Titans targeted Hasselbeck from the get go, the Vikings targeted McNabb. They gave up a couple of picks to get him.

The Vikings also have Joe Webb who played pretty well in his opportunities last year. He is too talented of a player to sit on the bench all season, so I would expect the Vikes to work him in the offense on some trick plays once the season starts. I doubt they would show any of that tonight though.

Unlike the Titans, the Vikings have their star running back in camp. I wouldn't expect to see a lot of Adrian Peterson tonight, but he will probably get a couple of carries on their first series. He isn't as good as Chris Johnson, but he is still pretty fun to watch.
