Adam Schefter is reporting that Jerricho Cotchery has agreed to terms with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Does anyone else think the Titans weren't serious when they talked about wanting to add a veteran wide receiver? They said they were interested, but they never even brought anyone in for a visit.

I am OK with what they have at receiver at this point, so I am not mad that they didn't sign one, but I don't understand why they talked about adding a guy but never brought one in.

Yeah

The jets are towards the bottom of my list in the NFL.

It’s pretty evident they weren’t too serious about bringing another vet WR in. I have a lot more optimism at this point with one of our Mikes than I do the other. Just not sold on Reinfeldt.

It's just the usual talking just to be saying something

I’m fine with our WRs, too. I dont’ know if it is just the constant cycle of talking to reporters or the FO overstating their interest. I mean, sure, they could have been interested in a vet WR… just not enough to seriously consider it. Either way, I hope it doesn’t come to where we can’t believe a word that comes from their mouths.

as has been said, we aren’t going to sign players like this b/c we are many pieces away from a super bowl run. Just won’t help things a whole lot.

What about Torry Holt?

they brought him in a few years ago and he’s made it known he wants to play again. Having our WR group learn from Randy Moss and Torry Holt in back-to-back years would be pretty neat.
