It seems that we have now entered day 1,000 of the NFL Lockout, and I am really not sure that the two sides are anywhere close to an agreement. It seems that every other day you have conflicting reports on how the talks are going, and how close the two sides are on issues like revenue split and a rookie salary cap.

I have done my best to pay as little attention to the reports as possible because no one that isn't in the room really has any idea how close the two sides are. It is all just meaningless speculation.

What I do know is that we are getting really close to the time that training camps are supposed to start. This whole thing hasn't bothered me much up until this point because there really hasn't been anything missed, but that is about to change.
