MCM Saturday Night Discussion: A World Without Football
I really do think they will get this CBA worked out this week, but I also thought that last week. Let's pretend for a few minutes like this thing is going to extend into October. What will you do with all of the free time you have on Sundays?
I always think it is funny when people are worried about what they will do on Sundays if there isn't football because, even with a full football season, you really only have 21 Sundays that have football. That is less than half of the year, but the fact remains that you would know it was a Sunday with no football. So what would you do?
I don't think we will have any trouble at our house figuring out what to do. We will be welcoming our second child, another boy, into the world before the season is scheduled to start. Our hands will be full.

I'd get a lot more done around the house
and watch my beloved Yankees have to rely on Big Fat Bartolo Colon to lead them to the World Series. Colege football would take more of my time too

A world without football
would make me sick, it would be like “A dagger to our heart” as a Mr. Johnson said after an Amano holding incident…

As far as I'm concerned
there was no football last year. It sucked. I’m ready for the new season.

Become a hokie fanatic for the football season, and probably get a lot more work done on sundays.

Congratulations Jimmy on another having another boy!!
watching them grow up is about the best way you can spend your time, especially if there’s no football.

I play nerdy
wargames and boardgames with friends on the weekends about once a month or so. Normally we take time out for football games on Sunday. Instead, we’ll just keep gaming….
And I’m sure my wife will have something to say about spending that extra time on the honey do list.
