What was your favorite moment of the 1999 season?
Hey guys, what's up? We've got another lockout driven post here, and I hope it will be the last. The question is as stated in the title, and I'd like you to say something besides the Music City Miracle, however if that's your favorite(which i'm sure it's all of our favorites) by all means, say so. Just add something else you loved about that season, and if you want add many things as your heart desires.
I have a few favorites,
1. The complete domination of the Jaguars. I mean seriously, the only games they lost that season were to us. That makes me smile.
2. The Eddie George run against the Colts in Indianapolis. Whenever I think of maybe facing the Colts in the playoffs in the future, I hope we have a game and a performance like we did that game.
3. Jevon Kearse sacking Rob Johnson for a safety in the Music City Miracle game. I hated Rob Johnson and still do, and that moment is my favorite Jevon Kearse moment as well.

McNair's escape in the Super Bowl.
I honest to Jebus knew we were gonna win right then and there. And knew that I was watching Superman in a football uniform.

To me, in that moment he ceased to be a man, he became something, more.
I'm not opinionated. I just have an ego that you can't handle.
Completely agree.
As soon as he made that play, there was no doubt in my mind he was letting that team get beat.
"Do the Titans have a miracle left in them in what has been a magical season to this point? If they do, they need it now. Christie kicks it high and short. Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25; he dishes it back to Wycheck; he throws it across the field to Dyson. 30, 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5, endzone...touchdown, Titans! There are no flags on the field! It's a miracle! Tennessee has pulled a miracle! A miracle for the Titans!"

The first win at Jax
I remember on the NFL today they interviewed Fisher and he said they got to dance with the prom queen as Jax was the “best” team in the NFL. Then as they were shaking hands after the game they said not only did they dance with the prom queen, but they are taking her home. Awesome.
Number 2 would be False Start Fred for the Rams. That was great.
Watching the games week 17 and on with my newborn daughter (who is now 11) was pretty cool too!
I tried
and cannot choose between Mcnair’s Super Bowl scramble and Eddie’s run at the goaline. For me that pretty much sums up the both of them and how that team played

so many good ones
but i mean, it’s gotta be the MCM. i was at the game with my mom. after the bills scored and went up she started crying and tried to get me to leave so we could go back to the car. she was in the aisle and i was just like no! there’s still time! we’re staying! and then it happened :D one of my first really strong sports memories. i was 11 at the time.
otherwise i gotta agree with the Jags domination. 3 losses, all to us. so great.
I know you said not to but Music City Miracle
The single play changed my life. In that moment I became a titans fan. When I say it changed my life i’m not kidding. Starting in 03 when i graduate high school and my parents say where do you want to go for your sr. trip? florida? hawaii? Nashville, TN! Me and my dad flew out that sept. and I was able to see Mac 9 and Eddie beat the Saints. Sticking through the low seasons were not a challenge for me. Summer 06 I get set up on a date purely because this girl was from Nashville. She showed up in a mac 9 jersey and in that moment I knew. 07 she wanted me to meet the fam. She wanted to go in July, so I talked her into September and was able to watch the titans beat the Falcons. Sadly my attempts failed to talk her into letting me go to a game the day after the wedding in 08 but its all good. Long story short the Music City Miracle brought me a passion in the titans and my lovely wife.

Awesome story man. This sounds like a story you should make a fanpost about.

That was amazing.
That’s why I allowed people to say the MCM if they wanted. I was hoping to get an awesome story like yours.

my favorite moment of the 1999 season was when we won the super bowl
wait that didn’t happen… 1999 was magical, but I’m still pissed off at the end result, why we have to LOSE an actual GOOD super bowl, up until then most of them were blowouts and we had the first end on the last play AND LIKE THAT GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAH… i don’t like to think about 1999, let’s move forward to something awesome hopefully
Collins gave us the best chance to win ma ballz
