Tennessee Titans' Players Tweet About Today's Practice
It seems that Cortland Finnegan put together a pretty solid session today at Father Ryan High School in Nashville. Reports are that there were about 40 Titans' players in attendance. The surprise of the day was Chris Johnson being there. His appearances in Nashville are pretty rare in the offseason. He said after practice that he isn't thinking about his contract and that he would be in camp if it started tomorrow. I hope that is the case.

The bastard love-child of a velociraptor and giraffe, of course.
Everyone knows the velociraffe is known for its extended neck, short, stubby arms which causes a pained expression whenever it has to throw a football.

This is incredible
I’ve never seen such a creature. Mother Nature is a wizard. So creative is she.
I live in the OC.
The one in OH.
From Wyatt's article:
Running back Chris Johnson said he expects Locker to be the starter in Week 1.
"Everybody knows he is going to be the starting quarterback so we’re trying to get him ready," Johnson said. "He’s a top 10 pick and they got rid of Vince Young. So of course he is going to be the quarterback. Everybody knows that.
" … It’s the first day of seeing him but I can see he’s a hard worker and he wants to get better. You can tell he wants to be the quarterback of this team. You can see he’s a pretty good quarterback the way he throws the ball … and he is mobile also. He is a cool guy, a good guy."
It rocks that CJ is there.
…though I wouldn’t be upset if he isn’t. But it does speak to the team. Now Britt needs to get his tail to these workouts so we can start to trust him.
Funny as great as a leader Finny has been so far this off season, this is what is being said about him over on the Niners site...
(15) Cortland Finnegan Not Getting Beaten Up More Often
Somebody call those clowns from the Jersey Shore and tell them to pick up their friend Pauly D. Seriously, Cortland Finnegan is the biggest clown shoes in the National Football League. More than that, next to Hines Ward, he’s got the stupidest face ever. Yes. His actual face is stupid. Everything about this guy makes me want to dropkick a nun or beat somebody unconscious with a sack of puppies. He’s a dirty player, and you can see it in this game when the Titans took on the Texans. He gets all up in Andre Johnson’s grill, and he’s not trying to hear any of that jive. Johnson serves up a beating here. Isn’t it just awful that it doesn’t happen more often? It’s an even better video because Johnson isn’t known for that kind of thing at all.
in reference to the Johnson/Finny fight, obviously…
God. Damn. It I hate Andre Johnson….!!!!

Whoa...they say FInny's got a stupid face?
Have they SEEN Rusty Smith in any number of photos?

Screw 'em.
"Do the Titans have a miracle left in them in what has been a magical season to this point? If they do, they need it now. Christie kicks it high and short. Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25; he dishes it back to Wycheck; he throws it across the field to Dyson. 30, 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5, endzone...touchdown, Titans! There are no flags on the field! It's a miracle! Tennessee has pulled a miracle! A miracle for the Titans!"

I like how everyone acts like Johnson beat Finnegan in a fight.
Finnegan purposely didn’t throw a punch once Johnson had lost his cool.
Andre Johnson: “I’m a great boxer, especially when my opponent’s not fighting back.”

Also of note, I've harped on this before and will continue to do so,
Finnegan plays the same way in Tennessee as he does in other stadiums. Andre Johnson is the one who suddenly wants to fight when he’s in Reliant, but doesn’t throw punches anywhere else. That’s not a coincidence. I’d be tough too if I had thousands cheering me on and backing me up as well.

Ya I thought it was just the hair-pull move at LP Field.
That’s why I put in ‘throw punches.’

Remember when Jason Jones decked....someone?
can’t remember who it was other then a Texan, then got ejected. I think I fell in-love with him right at that moment.
The Saint of MCM
Funny how he gets ejected and suspended for punching someone....
I guess those rules don’t apply to the Titans.
The Saint of MCM
doesn’t really matter who it was, if they’re in Houston, they’ll end up underachieving when it’s all said and done.

I'll paste what I said in the other thread (I'm the guy from NN)
Hey … Finnegan probably has a lot of redeeming qualities. Maybe he’s a team player and maybe he’s active in the community. That’s great, there’s tons of players like that in the NFL, and it honestly makes me very proud as a fan. But you have to understand what other teams see on gameday. If he works for you guys, embrace him as fans, you are doing the right thing here, but I’d just like to formally say, as the organizer of that contest, that I have nothing against any of you or the Titans. We’ve gotten only small doses of Finnegan, and that’s what we’re going on.
Also I hope you understand that it is a very light-hearted and fun contest.
In short, cheers for not freaking out and raiding the site like some other, whiny blogs do. You guys have a great site over here.

He's scrappy, not dirty.
When have you ever seen him pull a hines ward crack back? Or pull a rodney harrison hitting someone out of bounds multiple times a game? Or have you ever seen him hit someone head to head like james harrison? Me neither. He never goes out there and tries to hurt anyone. (a shove isn’t going to injure an NFL player, even if it is after the whistle)
