POLL: How Many Games Will the Titans Win in 2011?
It is ridiculous to post this poll today because we don't even know who the QB is going to be, but gramsey told me today that he thinks the Titans will only win 2-3 games in 2011, and I think that is ridiculous.

With Jake starting at some point in the second half of the season.
I think those are reasonable expectations…
I live in the OC.
The one in OH.
I don't see how anyone could be optimistic enough to see us winning 6 games

this year, the titans play the 5 worst records of 2010!
Panthers/Broncos/Bills/Bengals/Browns
AND we play Jacksonville and Houston twice.
Let me rephrase the question:
do you think the titans regressed more than these 5 teams?
We only won 6 last year
And we played the Broncos, the Jaguars twice and the Texans twice.

I don't think we are as bad the Panthers
I would rank us behind the Browns and Broncos though

I'm with you gramsey
they should beat the Panthers and Bungles and thats about all I can see as it should be a win. Browns are tougher than people think and the Broncos would be a toss up.

won 6 even with a complete meltdown.. from the QB to the coach.
my optimism is because i think the titans have a middle of the pack team, even with Collins (worst option, imo) at the QB position.
We haven´t lost any big talent (VY the only one, but i know i´m exception) and our schedule feature these equally bad teams.
again, i know i´m VERY optimistic.. maybe blind to the signs. But this year, I expect a good, competitive team.
I'm not confident in our coaching staff, our quarterback position or our defense.
Other than that, I am confident!

Yes. By a wide margin.
Most of that has to do with the fact that there is so much uncertainty at the QB position. Put another way, if we were heading into last year with only Rusty Smith and KC on the roster, I would have felt the same way. You’re setting yourself up for disappointment if you think Jake Locker will give the Titans a decidedly better result at the QB position this year as compared to Rusty last year.
Last year’s record is inflated due to the fact that we had a good core set of players for half a year before the whole thing went to hell. For better insight into what could be expected this year, revisit the last 8 games from 2010.
Moreover, the impact of Kenny Britt and the looming suspension should not be underestimated.
His absence had a dramatic impact on offensive performance in games he missed last year.
Jake Locker + New Offensive System – Kenny Britt = Horrible situation heading into 2011
I can deal with my all favorite team having a shitty season
but I will never accept failure. Period.

I chose 6-8
Check out my Youtube Channel Icecru2
yeah, i want some views...
3-5
That’s with Locker. Maybe eke out 1-2 more with Collins. Maybe.
But hey, if they get in a full training camp, I might be more optimistic.
The Force is with you, young SkyLocker, but you are not a Jedi... yet!
19-0
Oh wait, is this in Madden or real life?

then i'm sticking w/ 19-0
and KC putting up 5K passing yards, 40 TDs, 0 INTS, and the MVP leading the way.

3-5.
I’d be surprised if they managed 7 or more wins this year.

I'm with gramesey on this. How can anyone see us even being a middle-of-the-road team next year?
With Kenny Britt suspended and just generally not getting his act together, and with Kerry or Rusty likely the week 1 starter, we have almost nothing in terms of a real passing attack. This means CJ’s going to see another season of 8-9 man fronts and won’t get too many home run chances. So unless Locker comes in and shocks the world by not playing like a rookie, our offense isn’t going to take us very far.
Our defense could reasonably be expected to show some improvement if our rookies make an impact and Tony Brown & Captain Morgan stay healthy, and if Jerry Gray is any more competent as a D coordinator than Chuck Cecil was. But with Babin likely leaving and with some probable lingering issues in the LB corps, it’s still probably a middling unit at best. And if our offense blows anyway, what good’s a decent defense?
I’ll be shocked, absolutely shocked, if we even get to 7-9 (assuming we even have a full season). Doesn’t mean I won’t watch every game and cheer my heart out, though.
Go Titans! Go Magic!

that there’s a 16-game season. i think it’s gonna be an 8 or 10 game season. where i say we go 4-4, 4-6, or 5-5. fisherball wins again!

4 wins. even the Panthers had some really talented players last year, they had instability at QB, a terribad defense, and very little production from its best player (or one of its best players). I see much of the same with this team.

@DPR9
Is our defense REALLY that bad?
Is our offense REALLY that bad?
I can’t see us being in the 0-2 range, I think if its in the 3-5 range its right at 5, I said 6-8 because that’s just how I see it, probably 6 and 8 at best. It’s not like the Titans have 0 talent on the team ….
Of course, I’m trying to hold onto my shred of confidence the NFL Lockout didn’t steal!
WOW
THE NFL
it’s pretty damn bad. it’s not like the Panthers don’t have some talented players either, they have Jonathan Stewart, Jordan Gross, Steve Smith, Jon Beason, and Jeff Otah, it’s not like they’re devoid of talent, just not as talented as they needed to be. they probably hit some bad luck over the course of the year when it came to injuries and when all was said and done, they were the worst team in the league.

Care
I don’t care so much about how man win’s and losses as I am about How The losses come..
Are we lossing 20 – 27 games? if so I can live with that.. But if we are lossing 31 – 0 then I’m very concerned.
Not only because this team will be bad. but for Munchak. I like him and would hate to see him branded as a bad coach because he came into a very bad situation and limited options for coordinators.
How long does he get if he can’t pull it together early? Bud isn’t getting any younger
I always vote the highest possible number on stuff like this.
Go Titans!
"Do the Titans have a miracle left in them in what has been a magical season to this point? If they do, they need it now. Christie kicks it high and short. Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25; he dishes it back to Wycheck; he throws it across the field to Dyson. 30, 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5, endzone...touchdown, Titans! There are no flags on the field! It's a miracle! Tennessee has pulled a miracle! A miracle for the Titans!"

Voted 3-5 and think Gramsey may well prove correct.
