Best Titans Draft Picks, No. 4: OT David Stewart
Over the next few weeks heading up to the draft we will be highlighting the biggest busts and greatest picks in the history of the Titans. I have decided to only look at the picks the franchise has made since the move to Tennessee instead of trying to look back at the entire history of the franchise.
Now we will countdown the top 10 best picks in franchise history.
David Stewart is also part of the draft that the Titans stole from Matt Millen and the Lions. Stewart was the 113th pick in the 2005 draft. He was graded as the #1 right tackle in the league by Pro Football Focus in 2009, and was also named to the second team AP All-NFL team in '09.
Top 10 Busts:
#10 Shad Meier
#9 Tyrone Calico
#8 Ben Troupe
#7 Courtney Roby
#6 Paul Williams
#5 Kevin Dyson
#4 Chris Henry
#3 Andre Woolfolk
#2 Adam Jones
#1 Vince Young
Top 10 Successes:

I guess this answers my question
about Roos and Stewart sharing a pick. Now if we could just get this type of value out of an interior lineman this year……
CJ looks like a 12 year old kid compared to those Mountain Men...
inaccurate in college = inaccurate 4life!!
seriously though
He looks like a kid just tagging along with these men. Like he wants to be part of their awesome club. Pretty funny.

Big Country is Stewart's nickname
Titans Blogger at Music City Miracles even though gramsey hates it.
Stewart and Roos are the men!
I also think some credit for their development should go to Kevin Mawae. He was a really great example for them to follow their first couple years here.

Hopefully they don't become a mouthy douche who has an 'opinion' on everything
like Mawae does… Like him for his football, don’t like him because he talks too much.

Large man:
Official MCM Hater!
"Brian f'n Orakpo. That guy is like James Harrison minus the stupid."

David Stewart is a mauler. He plays so physical and let's no one get away with anythng.
He is a perfect teammate and a perfect example of how EVERY NFL PLAYER should act and play.
- RT in the league at the moment!!!
GO TITANS!!!
I love David Stewart.
He’s a nice compliment for Roos. Roos is an excellent pass blocker, and Stewart just beats on people.
"Do the Titans have a miracle left in them in what has been a magical season to this point? If they do, they need it now. Christie kicks it high and short. Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25; he dishes it back to Wycheck; he throws it across the field to Dyson. 30, 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5, endzone...touchdown, Titans! There are no flags on the field! It's a miracle! Tennessee has pulled a miracle! A miracle for the Titans!"
