Kevin Mawae as O-Line Coach... what do you think?

Now that Mike Munchax has been announced as the new Titans HC, I personnally think he needs to get another good O-Line coach in to fill the vacancy.  Who better than old Titan O-Line Center Kevin Mawae.  Kevin Mawae's knowledge would help the O-Line out tremendously and maybe he could get E. Amano to understand the Center position better.  I would say Bruce Matthews, but he took a job for the Houston Texans not too long ago I think.  After last season the O-Line really needs a pick me up.

Uh no

What in Mawae’s coaching background makes you think he would be any good at coaching?

What are we shying away from getting Bruce Matthews back in Nashville..

cause the Texans just hired him??? Are we suddenly sympathetic and caring towards the Texans franchise? F that. This is a business. If Munchak can get Matthews in here then better for us and worse for the Texans. I want this team to win games….. not win the congeniality award in the AFC South.

Please no

Mawae hasn’t coached anything and on a side note: every time he talks he annoys the shit out of me.

Mawae is currently NFLPA President, he's not going to go into coaching in the near future.

Not to mention “Munch” has a much closer connection to Matthews, who also happens to have spent his career with this team and has some pro-level coaching experience.

I’d like to see Bruce and Casey Matthews come to the Titans next year :)

I say..

Leave poor Mawae alone.

[enter some witty remark here]

Mawae won't coach just like he won't play.

Not until a new CBA is signed, anyway.

Plus, I’d rather have Bruce Matthews. He was a better player and has been coaching for a few seasons in some capacity or other.

"Do the Titans have a miracle left in them in what has been a magical season to this point? If they do, they need it now. Christie kicks it high and short. Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25; he dishes it back to Wycheck; he throws it across the field to Dyson. 30, 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5, endzone...touchdown, Titans! There are no flags on the field! It's a miracle! Tennessee has pulled a miracle! A miracle for the Titans!"

must read:

completely random but there is a guy who requested me as a friend on facebook who thinks I play for the Titans. granted when he requested me, my profile pic was of Alterraun Verner, but still look at the rest of my pics to figure it out.

he said and I quote “I was at the Kansas City game to watch you guys play.”

should I keep playing along or tell him the truth?

Ya'll don't even know he was a virgin til he was 28, and now...Roll Tide.

I asked him who his favorite players were, he said:

Chris Johnson and Ryan Sikes (thats me by the way).

Is he retarded?

I really hope it's just a kid who's mixed up.

Otherwise I think the Rules of the Universe dictate you play along and milk this thing for all it’s worth.

Just never ever ever say that you play for the Titans

He thinks your name is Ryan Sikes. You are not lying to him!

Tell him to have a Sikes jersey made at NFL.com and send it to you for an autograph.

A great player doesn't always necessarily equal a great coach.

Just because Mawae was a great player, doesn’t mean he will equal that success as a coach.
