So Plaxico Burress will be avalible during the FA. Although he is 32, and coming out of prison it would seem that a number of teams are interested in him. Although it is against traditional Titan philosophy (i.e. Jeff Fisher philisophy) to bring in troubled players, I think that he would be very benificial.. Here are some Pros and Cons I forsee if we were to aquire them...
-At 6'5 he is one of the larger recievers in the league
-At one time he had some of the best hands in the league
-He would be able to help mentor young recievers such as Kenny Britt and Damien Williams (on a strictly game play level)
-He would provide a second viable option to God knows who are next QB will be
-He would be a fairly cheap aquistion with all of the questions marks about his behavior
-His character issues are a huge concern
-It is highly possible that he is not as quick or capable as he once was
-At 32 he has few if any good years left in him
Overall I see the Pros far outweighing the Cons and I would love to see the Titans at least bringing him in for a workout to see where he is at physically. Either way I do hope that we're much more agressive when it comes to aquiring players than we have been in the past...
