We are now at the happy point along this path, seeing nothing but cheese. The next two weeks are likely to go as predicted as well, leaving us at 8-6 and still in playoff discussions. Then the spikey iron teeth of the trap close. The season ends with us being swept by an irrelevant jacksonville and a rudderless houston. 8-8 and in the lap of misery.

This is the evil fan sitting on my left shoulder. On my right shoulder, we win all the remaining except the NO game to go 10-6, and manage to grasp at least the wildcard slot. But the devil on my left whispered a couple of weeks ago, and in the glow of these past two wins and CJs resurgence, its fading words raise a shiver..... beware..... beware.....
