Seventeen points is about as much as we can expect from this offense this season. Chris Johnson was obviously a lot better today. He ran the ball harder than he has all season, and he was actually making guys miss. There were a couple of times that he showed the burst that he had in his first three seasons.
Johnson finished the day with 14 carries for 64 yards. The only problem there is that he did not get enough carries.
Grade: B
The passing offense was blah. Matt Hasselbeck's numbers look pretty good on paper. He was 24 of 41 for 272 yards and 2 touchdowns. The problem is that there just are not any weapons in this passing game. Damian Williams made a really nice play today, but he is still too inconsistent to be counted on. The same can be said for Jared Cook and Lavelle Hawkins. I just don't see anything to convince me that this offense is going to be good enough to win games with a bad defense.
