Tampa Bay is in the middle of the pack offensively. They are 15th in total offense, 12th in passing offense, 22nd in rushing offense and 25th in scoring. The confusing thing for them this season has been the play of Josh Freeman. Last year he finished the season with 25 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He has already thrown 15 interceptions this year against just 11 touchdowns.
It sure would be nice if the Titans would be able to pressure him into some bad decisions, but they haven't pressured much of anyone this season. They will be able to force him to make some tougher throws with Colin McCarthy starting at middle linebacker instead of the gaping hole that was Barrett Ruud.
You already know about their running game. It features LeGarrette Blount who is running over and hurdling people this season. Just think, we could be watching runs like this right now instead of watching Chris Johnson run up to the line and turn around to wait to be hit. Thanks Jeff Fisher.
In all seriousness, the Titans will need to wrap him up when they get the chance. You have seen what happens when team don't.
I feel pretty good about the Titans' chances to hold the Buccaneers to around 20 points in this game.
