This is going to be a challenge for the Titans rushing game. They have looked better in the last couple of weeks, but this is a really tough defense they are facing today. Chris Johnson has at least looked like a competent NFL running back the last couple of weeks. Let's hope that continues.
The biggest thing for the rushing game in this one is to keep down and distance manageable. They cannot afford to have any zero or negative carries on first downs because they need to win time of possession to keep Michael Turner off the field.
Matt Hasselbeck should be able to move the ball through the air in this one. While Atlanta has been really good against the run, they are just 23rd against the pass. Hopefully Damian Williams will continue his much improved play from the last couple of weeks, and maybe Jared Cook could step up and make some plays.
Both of these teams desperately need a win to keep pace with the teams that are leading their division. The Titans are going to need their best effort on both sides of the ball today. If they get that, they will win the game, but anything less will probably result in a loss.
GO TITANS!!
