MCM Play of the Week: Matt Hasselbeck to Damian Williams

For the second week in a row, Damian Williams gets the play of the week. He took a short pass and turned it into a big play for a touchdown. To be a successful offense in the NFL, you have to have guys that can make plays like that. Early in the season it did not look like the Titans had any after Kenny Britt went down. D-Will is starting to look like he can be that guy.

Of course Marc Mariani's punt return was also in consideration. While it was really good to see him finally make a play this season, it was impossible to ignore the importance of D-Will's play. His threat is going to give defensive coordinators something else to scheme against besides Chris Johnson.

It was also really nice to have more than one play to chose from. It feels like it has been a long time since that was the case.

seriously though, I just wish Cook could become a bigger threat on the inside

I use him as my cheat sheet on Madden, tight ends are the targets the best QB’s take advantage of… D-Will is getting better but we need all around improvement if we’re going to over-take the Texans Shaub or no Shaub (I feel bad for that guy, I liked him back from his days in Atlanta)
