Titans 27 Colts 10: Play of the Week

This week's play of the week, posted after the jump, is the blocked punt that was recovered for a touchdown by Jason McCourty. It was a big play that really helped the Titans get jump started in a game that they absolutely had to have.

McCourty was at the right place at the right time on this play, but he has been one of the more pleasant surprises on this team. It is not that he wasn't good last year, but I guess I didn't realize how good he was. He looks like a legitimate number two corner opposite Cortland Finnegan.

You can also make the argument that he is playing better than his twin brother, Devin, who was a first round pick for the Patriots last year. The Titans might have gotten the better player, and they got him in the sixth round.

His play has been good enough that I am not even mad Alterraun Verner isn't getting to start.

yeah - they just didn't discuss the penatly and they picked the flag up + it wasn't enforced on kickoff...

So I just assumed it was called off.

Ive been saying that JMac is the more complete football player out of him and Devin.

The reason why the Pats do struggle is due to their secondary. Devin needs more play makers around him in Foxborough. He also needs more work. JMac is having another solid year

they are pretty much the same player...

Devin made the pro-bowl his rookie year for god’s sake. Jason was pure sh*t his rookie year. There are a lot of variables in the NFL. I’m just glad the talent at the corner position is deep. Now if we could just get the linebacker position shored up.
