Sunday as everyone is aware of the Titans are trying to make a serious statement against the AFC Champion Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, if they win, I might get tazed by one of my Steeler loving friends, but  I welcome it, because maybe, we can gain some momentum into the bye

The past five years, it's been weird to be a Titans fan, heck, only real true football fans actually know more than two players on our team, and they even underestimate our strength. The truth is after losing McNair (on the field and off), going from undefeated to no wins at all, and the Vince Young/Jeff Fisher soap opera we need to field a good professional and more importantly winning team this season. I was hurting as a fan and during last off-season, I STILL STAYED OPTIMISTIC!!! I mean I sort of figured "no way we don't trash our head coach AND our old franchise quarterback and not draft Locker". I also figured "the defense was too good in too many moments to be the turd they were at certain points of the game", and you know what, 4 weeks in, I was pretty much right about all of that, the only thing I got wrong was "Hasselbeck... really that guy is done, he should retire"... I really look stupid now don't I. This post has nothing to do with my picks for this Sunday, or any roster moves our FO should make, because up to this point, they have made all the right ones. I hope we live up to my big expectations, or to at least half of them, because realistically, half of my expectations are way beyond what anybody would have given us before the season started. Our next test is Pittsburgh, and even with all the injuries they're still a great football team, a win will be a win, and no matter what the talking heads say on my T.V the Titans will be 4-1 and that is enough to make me smile.
