Tennessee Titans Daily Links: Hey, Did You Hear Chris Johnson Hasn't Been Great This Year? Edition
Brian Baldinger says CJ's lack of production is the entire RBs fault, and that he's slowing down. While I agree with some of Baldinger's comments, saying that CJ is significantly slower than he was is a bit off-base. CJ's biggest problems to my eye are his lack of decisiveness and ability to anticipate the whole and his angles like he used to... which is infinitely easier to get back than explosiveness.
In other news, a Sports Illustrated poll of NFL players named the same Chris Johnson the fastest player in the NFL. He was trailed by Desean Jackson, Mike Wallace and Devin Hester.
Lavelle Hawkins has already doubled his previous career high in receptions, but fan opinion of him has never been lower. Luckily, Hawkins isn't satisfied with the drops and pre-snap mistakes that have plagued his performance so far, and he's working to feel more comfortable with his ability to master this offense. I hope he can get there, because we could sure as hell use it.
Tommy Campbell mixed it up with Marc Mariani and Nate Washington yesterday in practice, which is the kind of intensity the Titans need to be practicing with during the one day per week they can practice with pads on under the new CBA.
Munchak swears that the Titans aren't taking the Colts for granted. He better have these guys expecting Indy's best game of the season as they come to town still licking their wounds from the beatdown the Saints put on them.
While there has been lots of speculation about line-up changes on offense, the defense has struggled just as much over the past few weeks. Jerry Gray says he isn't considering making any line-up changes, but I bet you 100 MCM bucks that if Colin McCarthy were healthy he'd be eating into Barrett Ruud's playing time significantly.
An Indy paper profiled Matt Hasselbeck.
Former Titan Stafon Johnson got a workout with the Raiders.
Yes, among others.

So found a couple post from BBS that made me laugh.
‘Why would the management at stampede blue not care of the customer enjoyed the experience here?’
Because your opinion, while valid, is in the minority.
If no one liked the experience here, they wouldn’t visit. We’re No. 5, in terms of traffic, football blog at SB Nation. Our stuff is considered ‘must read’ by sports people all over the world.
Again, people commenting is important, but for every comment ‘hating’ Stampede Blue here, I get two or three Tweets, emails, and comments in other places saying ‘love your work.’
Not everyone is going to like everything we do. Can’t please everyone. This is why I do work on the side to promote other Colts blogs.
Titans fans trolling
So, we kind of got invaded last night by a bunch of schmucks from the Music City Miracles blog, which covers the Titans. This seems to happen often because there are a few nutballs over there who get their gollies off by encouraging MCM readers to come here and ‘troll,’ as if this were a message board, or something.
The trolls have either been warned or banned, and normality has been restored, for the most part.
Special thanks to the editors at MCM, especially Jimmy, for helping us handle the idiot element at MCM. Apologies for the disruption. Carry on.

Yeah, this got 31 rec yesterday.
The only thing I see here is your undying lack of respect for the readers of this blog and more importantly the players of the Indianapolis Colts… It’s one thing to have an opinion and stick to it, it’s another to demoralize and to cut down a well respected veteran of the team, the whole league for that matter. The only reason I will continue to visit this blog, is to see the headline "BigBlueShoe no longer writes for Stampedeblue". That will be a day to rejoice.
I get it, you got your feelings hurt. What Jeff said was in the heat of the moment. Both the "out-coached" and "45 year old..blah blah blah" comments. He’s frustrated obviously. But for you to cut him down and demoralize him like he’s the enemy… it’s time you get your priorities strait BBS…

You'd be surprised... look on craigslist and you'll find plenty of good seats!
You can get sideline tix for less than face value… or club level… or uppers for $50 a pair… then go and sit wherever you want to in the lower level!
Never waste your cash on stub hub… ALWAYS buy from the PSL holders in Nashville!
I've only bought 2 sets of tickets online
One was to a Braves game off ticketmaster (which, I’ve noticed, is pretty awful compared to StubHub) and bought Titans tickets last year on ebay, haha …

For those who have an opinion or experience:
In all honesty, what seats are better, lower level endzone seats near the bottom or loge seats? I sit in the loge seats most of the time because my dad and I get them from a friend at his work, and you can see everything from there, and I’ve only sat in the lower level endzone seats once, but more towards the top of it. It was nice seats but when they went away from your side of the field it was harder to see. Is it worth it to sit near the bottom just to get a nice look at them when they’re on your side of the field or better to see everything?

The game I went to was when the Titans played the Texans last season and won
The only TD scored on our end was Schaub to Andre Johnson and Andre taunted the crowd and some people gave him the ole Bud Adams double barrel middle finger salute. And McCourty had a pick 6 down at our end but it was called back due to some stupid Titans-esque penalty

I would take the Loge over the end zone...
In the end zone you can’t see much and it’s fun and all, but a lot of “visiting” fans end up there… from the loge you can see the whole game!
So it just depends… do you want to “see” the game or “party” at the game?
See=Loge
Party=End Zone
Club Level=Boring, Non-fans and not much better view than the upper level!
Yeah, I like the loge seats. You can see everything.
The endzone seats were pretty nice, and I got my profile pic I use on here from getting down there and snapping pre-game pics, so that was nice. Plus when they came on our side of the field it was pretty cool. But overall, if you want to enjoy watching the game and how plays unfold, loge seats are better than endzone seats.

what?
Club level above visitors tunnel was awesome! Best views in the stadium are at that level, u can see plays develop & still read their name on jersey.
Plus, in that section at least, the regulars were big fans, had chants for certain situations,& cheered as loud as other sections.
Worst section I found was 127, right next to players wives. View was fantastic, but season ticket holders were so pathetic. This was the Cards comeback game & all the snobs around us wouldn’t even stand on final drive!! Why go?
Before I do anything I ask myself "Would an idiot do that?" And if the answer is yes, I do not do that thing.

If I'm not sitting around the 30 yard lines or in, I'd probably rather be up top.
The nose bleeds at LP Field are not terribly bad seats, and it’s nice being able to see the whole field.

Look, the 2 teams I hate most of all are…
… the Steelers (naturally!) and the Patriots. Anyone who has read what I write around here should know this, okay?
But I am rooting for Stafon Johnson so even if it was one of those 2 teams that signed him (even to the practice squad) I would be happy for him.
That said, I would rather see him on the Titans practice squad or (yes) Oakland’s.
Dude deserves a big break after all he’s been through…
