Don Banks says to start Jake Locker

No! We are coming off what I think is the most embarrassing loss I have ever watched, worse than last year's debacle of Rusty Smith vs. Worst Pass Defense in history of NFL. For Don Banks to place blame on Hasslebeck is idiotic. He clearly does not watch the Tennessee games, but just looks at the box score. I admit, I did not watch the entire game yesterday because I found it more pleasing to go into my backyard and watch the grass grow. Hasslebeck was astonishing in his first few games with us (minus Jax), and of course Britt had so much to do with that. Kenny was turning into the type of player you just heave the ball to in the end zone, knowing he would come down with it (calvin Johnson-esque). Now, although Hasselbeck has not been perfect, he has put the ball in the hands of his wide receivers. Damian Williams (I refuse to grant him the nickname D-Will until he starts performing) and Lavelle Hawkins (same goes for him) both dropped passes on our second or third drive, and we were not able to recover after Griffin's pathetic attempt to tackle Foster. So, why throw a rookie QB into the fire with a poor receiving core and NO run game. Which also brings me to the question, I hope our 6th round draft pick next year becomes a great player. Why couldn't we give that up for Brandon Lloyd? The Titans turn 7th round draft picks into stars, not 6th rounders.
Hasselbeck still gives this team the best chance to win games. In my opinion, he is the player/position we need to worry about LEAST, besides cornerbacks. O-Line, running backs, wide receivers, D-Line (Can we get just one sack, please. Derrick Morgan, should we have drafted Jason Pierre-Paul instead. Seems like it with his 7+ sacks), Linebackers (just quit, Ruud), and worst of all safeties (FREE SAFETY). There is no doubt this team has the talent across the board with no glaring weaknesses. Where we do have a weakness, we have a great player to back him up, although they don't always play great. But that is why I am still confident in this team. The coaching staff needs to help bring out the best of these players on Sundays, because showing it in practice just isn't enough.
Truth is, we are playing in the worst division in football right now (NFC West, we'll take that distinction from you). We will win some more big games, Houston will lose more bad games, and I still think we are the better team and will make the playoffs. Whatever our record, I don't care- as long as we are there.
Go Titans!
P.S. Give Bulluck a ring!

Other problems on Sunday...
Hass throwing consecutive passes into the dirt on 2nd and 3rd down gave me flashbacks (PTSD) of Collins. I understand the first one… but on 3rd down?!
And Mariani returning kicks is trying too hard. Yes, he doesn’t get many attempts… but don’t just start running them ALL back because you want play time. It sucks starting at the 10-15 yard lines.
And on that, Bironas almost never gets a touchback on kickoffs.

What Needs to Happen!
1st Go out and get T.O. and let him start studing the play book and flip a coin on who to cut D.Williams or Hawkins or keep who’s cheaper because they both should be cut next year. 2nd bench CJ all he has proven is thats why you don’t give a holdout more money he wasn’t worth it and also sit him before he lowers his trade value anymore give Ringer and Harper the go ahead we did just fine in preseason without CJ. 3rd the defense needs work but you can’t blame them for the lose, they were on the field all the time. 4th don’t even think of starting Locker let him learn all he can and yes I would love to see them bring Bulluck back “Awsome team Leader”.
Why is everyone so hung up on TO??
He is 38 years old, and coming off of a knee injury, who’s to say he is even as good as Hawk or D-Will at this point in his career?

I get the feeling they won't sign T.O.
And they probably wouldn’t have in the first place.

Moot point here
Derrick Morgan, should we have drafted Jason Pierre-Paul instead
The Giants drafted him right before our pick in the 2010 draft.
That’s like saying we should have picked Hakeem Nicks over Kenny Britt.

Delusions.
You are kidding right, Weeks 10-14 for your team are tough. Away in Atlanta, away vs. Cam Newton, Buffalo, then New Orleans.
You would be lucky to win one of those games. Especially if your team plans to start a Rookie QB. So keep ingesting whatever gives you these foresight’s, you’re gonna need it.

Sigh, the season is still young
and this is EXACTLY what curved the development of Vince, they threw him under the bus (because we had the SHITTIEST STARTER IMAGINABLE!!) and he got to be super man too early in his career imo, keep hass out there, and start Locker in a couple of years when he finally gets the speed of the game, and there is a clear step ahead in his development
I Bleed Two tone blue...
NO REALLY I LITERALLY BLEED TWO TONE BLUE!!! That operation to dye my blood was the best $100,000 I ever spent
I used to read Don Banks and his pious crony Peter King
However, my doctor has advised me that I must cut down on mindless drivel and exposure to the minutiae of Tony Romo’s life so I’ve had to modify my reading habits. Anybody who actually watched the game would know that Hass was the best thing we had going for us. I have no problem with putting in Locker when the rout was in overdrive but no productive end is served by starting him now.
By the way, still on the subject of SI, Andrew Perloff is a congenital fuckwit who should be prevented from breeding at all costs. Just sayin’

We don't need to worry
No-one actually thinks Locker is going to start until at least next season. And thats only if it starts poorly next year. This guy is probably some bum who doesnt watch the games and see’s other rookies having some success (newton dalton ponder) and thinks ooh maybe they all should always start instead of looking at the situation
