FYI, here is a list of 2011 NFL free agent QBs. I thought to post this because while there have been a lot of comments on the potential draftees, not much has been said about free agent prospects (and Kolb is actually under contract). As you can see, the list is pretty uninspiring.

If we do indeed part ways with "Voldemort" then I am skeptical that we find an adequate performer at QB position next year, unless we make a trade. The best case would be to draft a top QB and hope he is a performer by 2012. The good performance by Ryan, Flacco, Freeman, and Sanchez in their first two years is inspiring. But a 1st round QB is always a big IF… and I think I would prefer to see a stable, dynamic offense on the field next year with CJ, Britt, Moss, and VY, under an offensive-minded coach... this prospect is so tantalizingly close for me to believe it is not possible. To me, it seems the best way we can field a winning team in the next few years -- and yes, maybe even a Super Bowl team.

Of course, the VY issue is well documented and I don't want to add fire to the flames. Whatever management decides about VY, I will support (I won't support another year of Fisher, however). But assuming "Voldemort" DOES go, what are your preferred QB scenarios? Is there anything that gives you true optimism (and don't give me the wet dream that we might find a way to get Luck-y).
