Jim Wyatt is reporting that Chuck Cecil has been informed that he will not return to the Tennessee Titans. Cecil took over the Titans defense in 2009 after Jim Schwartz left to coach the Lions. Cecil had been under heavy fire from fans and the local media for not being very good at his job. If you're going to be Jeff Fisher's D coordinator, you have to be great. Chuck may be great one day, but he simply wasn't ready yet by all indications.

We wish Chuck the best, but I have to say this was the one change pretty much every MCM commenter agreed upon. Now, who's up for taking a job with no stability and big holes in the LB and DT groups?
