While this may seem like a corny story, bare with me. I was born in 1991 in New York City. My father is a Jet fan, but growing up in the city, Jet fans were obnoxious and I could not get in to it. So I was an NFL fan free agent around the age of 8, and I watched the Music City Miracle take place, and casually followed their trip to the Super Bowl. The next year, I followed them, and just loved watching #9 play football. He was the ultimate teammate and competitor, and win or loss, I turned off the tv, radio, or gamecast after every titan game knowing that they followed Steve, and gave everything they had. 2 titan teams be the #1 seed and lose in the Divisional round of the playoffs. A heart breaking loss to New England, various other bad losses in the playoffs, and important games, and in the last 3 months the organization seemingly fall to shreds.

This fall I left New York City, because I was blessed to be recruited to play baseball at a college in Western Pa. (Steeler Country). The week 2 loss was brutal, but since then, I have told my NY family, and my college buddies that their teams were equally flawed, and not destined to make a run. Well, I was wrong, and sunday they will play each other for a ticket to the superbowl. (I would have bet my net worth the Titans go further than either team in week 8). Also within the past week, we lost Wash, have stuck with frekin Chuck Cecil, who a monkey could tell you, is not a good defensive coordinator. In a division that features #18, it is of utmost importance to have a defense that shows different schemes, and does not suck. 

The piece today that has CEOs commenting all over the place, about Rex Ryan not having long term success is a sheer joke. He has players playing harder for him, and are more committed than just about any team in the league. Their player personnel ranks probably 10-15th in the league, and their QB ranks about 22nd in my book. Rex should not have anything taken away from him, defeating Bill in the playoffs is something that not many coaches have figured out. Let them have their praise, because the man is an outstanding football coach, and his trash talk is smart and calculated.

While reading the blog, and listening to MCM, my frustration is just through the roof as a Titan fan...check in and lets get through this.
