It sort of is Titanic. (loosely based script)

1) The iceberg = Vince and Jeff’s building dislike for each other.
2) Hitting the iceberg = The Redskins game.
3) The splitting into of the ship = Bud breaking it off with Vince.
4) The people jumping off the ship = Fair weather fans finding a new team.
5) The people in the rafts = Fans dedicated enough to watch the team sink.
6) Watching people you know falling from the ass of ship = Our coaches headed for other teams just before it goes under.

All that’s left is the at end of the season, Bud clinging to Jeff and noticing if he doesn’t let go, he’ll be left to suffer another season – ALONE.
