Report: Trust to Take Reggie Bush's Heisman Trophy
Jason Cole and Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports are reporting that the Heisman Trust will be taking away Reggie Bush's 2005 award. There has been some talk about what would happen with the 2005 award if it was taken away from Bush. That same report says that the award would remain vacant and not be given to your 2005 runner-up; Vince Young.

I am not a big reggie bush fan but this is just unfair. Him taking money from boosters has absolutly nothing with his performance in 05. I mean if the guy took something to increase his ability I could see them taking the trophy away but he was just a kid who accepted some stuff from some boosters. unfair

Not unfair.
His performance was his performance. But the trophy is for an amateur athlete. Once he takes “gifts” from “boosters,” he is a professional. Thems the rulez.
