TJ Houshmandzadeh expected to be released by Seattle
Should the Titans go after him? He's a nine year vet who, if I remember correctly, has put up decent numbers consistently. He's definitely someone who could come in and help us out right away. Well worth clearing a roster spot for, in my opinion. He probably won't come cheap, but I think the Titans could afford to sign him.

I Wish
but the titans are known as cheap and dont sign lots of big name free agents
He would be cheap.
There’s a clause in his contract that Seattle must pay the balance of his salary this season. So, he could be had at the veteran minimum, with Seattle footing the rest of the bill.
I don't want to bring him in
Honestly we may have some growing pains but I don’t think we should bring him in and bury our young talent even more on the depth chart.
10. 28. 18. Let the season begin.

No
We don’t need another Justin Gage, and that is exactly what TJ would be. I think Britt will develop by the end of the year into a solid number one guy, with Gage as an ok 2, and Washington as the 3. We certainly are not deep at the WR position, but TJ really wouldn’t help us in my opinion.
What we really need to look into is a solid LB either on waivers or a FA, a solid CB in the same situation, and that’s about it. I really like the way we’ve been drafting and I think we are one good draft class away from getting back to the playoffs, and once we get there, we can focus on putting the final pieces on: a true defensive weapon in our front seven (which I don’t feel we have right now) and a great number 2 receiver, which I don’t think Gage is. He is solid, but not great.
So, 3 to 5 years from now, we will be competing for the Super bowl, but we need to do it mainly through the draft. TJ won’t help us, so we really should save the money and effort for those that will: Britt and other developing guys within our own team already.
No he's done

Only reason he ever put up #'s
was cuz he had Chad85 across from him. Teams would single cover TJ & he was a good deep threat then. He is washed up, old, slow, & has an ego as big as his last name. They need to avoid this poor mans T.O. like the plauge
