O-Line troubles?
Is our O-Line as sound as it seems? Is perhaps some of our problems Sunday result from not having the greatest O-Line anymore? Anyone else notice this? Maybe we needed Mawae more than we realize. I think a lot of the turn overs, QB problems, and lack of CJ's runs maybe due to this. I'm just saying maybe we can use some help. what do you guys think? If so who could we even get?

I agree totally
I have been saying this in thread all day since yesterday and it seems like it is a point that is being overlooked by a lot of people…..how can CJ get any yards if the line does not open up any holes?? WIth a run first offense that is not a recipe for success
And was it just me or was the play calling very unimaginative after the first quarter in the Steelers game?? With a defense like Pittsburgh has, you need to try to fool them
On the playcalling thing...
I think we were being a little TOO imaginative.
Dinger was getting a little too cute with his playcalling. Trying to fool the Steelers defense, especially with Polamalu, is a bad strategy. Trying to find the holes/flaws in their defense, THAT’s a good strategy.

Did you watch the game?
There was zero imagination in that game plan.
Titans Blogger at Music City Miracles even though gramsey hates it.
"What if I was Peyton Manning?"- CJ to the ref after they picked up a personal foul flag for a late hit on him.
Yah dude, no imagination and it got REAL vanilla in the second half
except for the first two drives…we didn’t move the ball at all until the went into prevent with KC in there…
Yeah!!
I was looking for: the Option, the Option reverse, the Play action Option reverse, the reverse.
Umm maybe splitting CJ out wide with javon in the backfield, and doing run plays, pass plays, and play actions out of it.
I hope Dinger draws up some better play calling utilizing our Skill guys
Its good that we’re using the full house with Hall and scaife in the back with cj, but it would be better if we used Stevens instead of scaife, he’s a better blocker. Don’t get me wrong Scaife is good but Stevens is a little better.

O-line does seem off kilter this year.
I do not however see us getting any help off of the streets this year. Come off season, if we can keep most of this roster intact then I imagine we will be looking pretty heavy at OL during the draft.
Of course the O-line is a step down from last year.
We don’t have Mawae, Roos isn’t playing well lately, and we have an O-lineman playing Center for the first time.
Give them time, they’ll get into a groove and figure out a way to get back on their feet.
But don’t judge them by the last game against the Steelers. After all, it was against the Steelers.
