The Ravens
I was reading Jimmy's 53-man roster prediction. Someone mentioned that if we don't take Myron Rolle, he will end up at Baltimore. This wouldn't be surprising if he ends up like Chris Carr and Air McNair. Along with the Ravens taking our players, they also love to kill our playoff runs. So, I assume it's safe to say, they are our rivals. Maybe more of rivals than our divisional rivals. So, on a scale of 1-10, how much of a rival are the Ravens to the Titans?

not sure Rolle has anything in common with those
but rivalries:
1) indy
2) houston / jax
3) good afc teams (baltimore,ny,new england,etc)
4) crappy afc teams
5) nfc teams
Rivals?
Hmmm…
Colts
Steelers
Ravens
Jags
Texans
In that order. Until the Texans make it to the playoffs they are in the cellar.

Also.
I really really hate the Jets. Anyone else with me on this? They are all talk and they shouldn’t have made the playoffs last year (Cincy and Indy resting starters) When they were 7-7.

Yes, I'm with you on that. They're not a Titans rival, but they just annoy the crap out of me.
They’re all about talking Super Bowl, but everyone seems to forget that they backed into the playoffs and got hot at the right time.
10. 28. 18. Let the season begin.

exactly
they beat Cincy who could seriously not pass the ball at all by January, and the Chargers, huge playoff chokers. And how many lucky breaks did they get with all those missed field goals by Graham and Kaeding.. i really hope they dont make the playoffs this yr to shut them up, especially rex ryan
I would agree with this order.
It could also be because I don’t have any Jags or Texans fans around me… but lucky me, all the people I watch with are Colts, Ravens (lots), Steelers or Cowboys fans.

I don’t think I’m just saying this because I live in MD either.. it’s more about the fans now because the only main people actually playing or coaching really remaining from the AFC Central days are Fisher, Ray Lewis, and Derrick Mason (Mason was on the other side though). But yes, huge rivals, in my opinion if they were still in the same division they would be a top rivalry in the league today. And I can think of many more times the Ravens have gotten our leftovers, very annoying. I can’t wait till they come to LP next season.
and i didnt even mention so much other crap..
..I just assumed everyone else would say all the other stuff so I just saved it haha
To be fair
The Titans have a habit of picking up Colts leftovers, and also have a particular habit of being a thorn in their side. Maybe not to the scale the Ravens are to us, but the pattern is similar.
I'd say they are #2
Indy(simply cuz they rule our division)
Ravens
Steelers(still that bad blood from the AFC Central days)
honorable mention Patriots(they hate us,&we should all hate them) Ever since they knocked us out the playoffs, but still whined about how “dirty” the Titans were in that game for knocking out Rodney(dirtiest player in the game) Harrison, who was also a cheater. Then they sent in their backup & continued to pass for TD’s when we played a few yrs back. Then last yrs game….ugh.
Personally, I hate the Steelers, Pats, Ravens, Bengals. In that order
The Jags used to be a bigger rival, but they suck. When they were good a few yrs back, they were a good rivalry. But its hard to keep up a rivalry when one team doesnt hold up its end of the bargain.
I think the Texans rivalry is more from their side. They tend to hate us more than we do them. For good reason, I guess. But this is starting to become the new big rival. They are on the rise(just like every year, lol), & there seems to always be some crazy ish goin on when these two teams meet. (VY walkoff TD, Bironas 6FG, CJ goin berzerk on em last yr)
I hate the Ravens

There isn't a team in the NFL I hate more than the Ravens
and there isn’t a player that I hate more than Peyton Manning.
Titans Blogger at Music City Miracles even though gramsey hates it.
"What if I was Peyton Manning?"- CJ to the ref after they picked up a personal foul flag for a late hit on him.
Philip Rivers?
I hate him more than Peyton. At least Peyton’s done something in his career.

Where are you from?
I’m guessing that Jimmy’s hate for Peyton, much like mine, started before his NFL career, when he was at the University of Tennessee.
Because you can’t be from Nashville without either loving UT, or hating them. There is no middle ground.
I like Philip Rivers
I hate Ray Lewis the most. Then Shawne Merriman.

I knew you were a Lewis and Merriman fan.

I started reaaaally hating the ravens when they took McNair.
And then when they knocked CJ out (purposefully) in 2008, all bets were off.
Damn them all
Ain't no time for hesitatin'
All you got to do is groove
San Diego
What about them? We’ve played them almost every year over the last few years…
USC > UT (Both of them)
How in the hell can the Ravens not be no. 1?
The Colts would be the only challenger, but the Ravens HAVE to lead that list, IMO. They’ve knocked out our two best teams early in the playoffs, they grab our old players and the gave us our first loss in Nashville.
Music City Miracles blogger and official Jon Bovi tour manager.
Could not have said it better...
but I’ll say it anyway.
We have lost twice to them in the playoffs despite outplaying them in every statistical category except for turnovers.
I hate them.
I hate everything about them.
The Colts are just obnoxious to me. The Ravens are evil. And my old boss, who was a Raven’s fan, is the most evil person I have ever known.
I always go first half - coffee, second half - beer, because In LA, the games start at 10:00 a.m.
When we finally win the super bowl
I hope we beat the ravens in the AFC Championship games the same way they’ve done us in the 2 Div. games..and I hope ray lewis is still on the ravens when it happens
I agree with this.
My “friend” sent me a Ray Lewis picture as as good morning treat to my email at work this morning….. I am rethinking terming him as a friend.
Ravens’ fans anger me.

I hate the Ravens with a passion
I hate Ray Lewis’ stupid dance, I hate their uniforms, I hate their ugly colors, I hate their ugly ratbird logo, I hate the fact they have ripped our hearts out on two separate but somewhat similar and equally painful situations.
I don't hate the Ravens... I LOATHE them.
There are two teams I will root against no matter the circumstances…
1: Ravens
2: Rams
(And the Rams is for familial reasons… I have a rather annoying uncle who’s a Rams fan. When they win I never hear the end of it.)
I prefer Indy not win in most cases, but if it will help the Titans out I’ll pull for them. I CAN NOT do it with the Ravens.
