About the Brett Favre Retirement

So Brett Favre is retiring....again.  Now I will believe this when he actually files the papers, but that is the buzz out there today.

I used to really like Brett Favre, but ever since he screwed the Titans over back in 2006....and every year since then with his waffling, I have really come to hate him.  He is just an attention diva, and he is really doing the Vikings wrong if the really is going to walk away this time.

Anyway, just thought I would throw that out there in case anyone wants to talk about it.

As is the case with any big sports story our friends around SB Nation are all over it.  You can read more about it at Daily Norseman, SB Nation.com, and SB Nation Minnesota.

I Love The 2006 Reference....

Have we been doing this that long? 18 runs by the Brewers last night, Jimmy……ouch. I was in STL watching the Cardinals lose to the Astros AAA team.

Favre is done, he would have come back now if he could.

Off topic a little….but wouldn’t this be the perfect time to try to get Haynesworth back?

Yes it would

This Cubs team has been the biggest embarrassment in a long time, and that is really saying something. Hopefully Ryno will be in charge next year.

I would love for Ryno to get that job

this team always seemed pretty decent on paper but it just hasn’t clicked since that second consecutive playoff sweep-gonna see a lot of new faces next year

Astros win 18-4

I guess I shouldn’t have said anything about the Cubs. Dang karma!

I'll own it...

I’m a big Favre fan. I’ve grown up watching him play, and it won’t be the same without him. To me, anyway. Having said that, I completely agree that the whole “Favre watch” has been blood-sucking, and he’s screwing the Vikings if he doesn’t play this season.

I'll believe it when...

…the season actually starts.

Until then, this is just another stunt to avoid training camp.

You didn't hear?

CJ announced he would rush for 2500 yards AND make the NFC playoffs this year.

Ugh.

Why can’t he just GO AWAY.

I hear

Peyton Manning is hosting a “Fcuk Brett Favre” party in Indianapolis.

Brett.....

Brett just leave while we still think of you as a great QB. You redeemed yourself with last year’s performance. Retire now before we see you as an over the hill QB.

I’m glad he’s gone. Hopefully it’s for good. He’s a goof.
