Serious question:

Is there anyone here that watches that video and thinks Fisher and Company have used Vince’s skill set correctly in the NFL?

They’ve left a lot on the table, IMO….

At least twenty. I've yet to see a better highlight tape in college.

If you want to see some other great tapes, check out the high school highlights of Vince Young and Reggie Bush. Reggie’s in particular is like watching a Bo Jackson on Tecmo Super Bowl.

I wish

Fish would let him get out in the open more with designed plays like this. But it seems like every run i wince at the fear he pulls up with a hamstring strain again.

i always tought that a qb should pass more than he runs . How much passplay on that highlight video 10 maybe not very much more than that. It is hard to make a gameplan around a running qb (see vick) the other players do not know where he is going and what he will do. Running qb almost never won the big game (see vick, cunningham). Ilike what mcnabb and mc nair have become at the end of their carrer. The entered the league as running qb but they left it or will leave it as qb who pass the ball and know when to run to mix it up. I hope vince learn to do the same

RE:Passing

The highlight video is filled with his runs mostly because highlights of passes are boring, to be honest, except for the several where he made a great scramble before finding the open man.

Don’t forget that his JR year in college, when he won the title, he not only passed for over 3000 yards in addition to his 1000 yards rushing, but he led the nation in passing efficiency.
