Dude I’m sorry, I just think our safety play last year was horrendous… I could see Griff turning it around, but I see no reason why Hope will get better. I think Robert Johnson should get a shot at this position. We will stick with the veteran I’m sure regardless of how everyone plays

Here's what I'd like Chris Hope to do....
go to the NFL video library….get some film on Jack Tatum(Raiders)…and watch it…over & over again. I believe that Chris has the tools to be very disruptive in the secondary, and really step up his game this year.
Secondary
are hard to predict. You really want their stat lines to look pretty sad.
The more tkls they have is an indication they are being thrown on or that the front 7 isn’t stopping anyone. Higher numbe of PD’s means they are also being thrown towards.
Other than INT you want every other stat line low.
Now with that said.. if we can trust our outside guys and the front 4 bring pressure (not sacks) then we want hope with decent tkls since typically we would bring him down into the box
but then again we could have revis and deion sanders in his prime back there and without any pressure they would look bad
