Paul Kuharsky is reporting on Twitter that Derrick Morgan left practice early today with a left calf injury.
Morgan has been hampered all offseason with these minor tweaks and has missed a lot of practice time. Of course this is not good considering he is a real key to the Titans being successful on defense this season.
Check back later for more updates on Morgan's status.
[UPDATE]: Here is what Coach Fisher had to say about Morgan's injury according to John Glennon of the Tennessean:
"Derrick’s had an ongoing calf issue. He had it before he left at the end of OTAs and we just backed him down. He’s not 100 percent. He felt it a little bit, so we just backed him down. He will eventually get back on the field at full speed and 100 percent. When that is, I don’t know. But we’re backing him down just so we don’t risk further injury."
