Czar Goodell has ruled form on high, and The Tennessean's Jim Wyatt is reporting that Titans QB Vince Young will not be suspended for the shoving match in a Dallas area strip club. Vince was cited for a minor assault violation, the punishment for which is roughly equal to parking in a handicapped space. In all honesty, it's possible to do more damage by parking in a handicapped space than anyone did in this incident. It's nice to see the league not go overboard with this, and hopefully Vince can manage to compose himself a little better from now on.

I can honsetly say
That I am glad that he will not be suspended. I think Young has a lot of potential. He just needs to have more confidence, work on his pocket presence, and read the D a little bit better. He has got a great arm, and I think he could possibly be a great QB, but he hits the panic button just a tad too soon. Great QB’s don’t get it done with their legs. Great QB’s don’t get it done with their arms. Great QB’s get it done with their mind. Everything else falls together.

So no fine from the league for his behavior??? I understand about not
suspending him, but he should pay where it hurts, from the pocketbook for making such a dumb decision.

It ends up being a tax write off anyways because it goes to charity.
